Abstract(in English) A new multimedia-oriented education environment has been constructed. This system is aimed at development, accumulation, distribution, and sharing of the education contents. It has distinctive functions such as distance collaboration system, graphic information processing system, user-support service system with which one can use the center resources as easily as browsing home pages, distributed collaborative learning system, and finally information retrieving service system in the library.
