| Abstract(in English) | A Campus Network with Gigabit Ethernet Switches has been newly constructed at Osaka Prefecture University and has been in service since April 1999. In constructing this campus network, we set the primary importance on high reliability and trouble resiliency, both of which are indispensable to a production network, on high-speed operation and Multicast capability, which are essential for Multimedia Communication, and on efficiency in operation and management. |
