Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A wireless ad hoc network is composed of wireless terminals temporally merging together, not relying on a preexisting fixed infrastructure such as a base station. In a wireless ad hoc network, dynamic topology such as the number of terminals and the relative location and velocity among terminals must be considered. In this paper, first we propose new categories of environmental factors for wireless ad hoc network communications. Then the validity of adaptive behaviors to the environmental factors is studied. Finally, in order to select a routing method we suggest a classification of the network's data structure and algorithm associated with a dynamic topology. We create a model in which adaptive controls to environmental communication factors are needed. Indeed, computer simulations confirm that the adaptive controls based on environmental factors are effective.
