Abstract(in English) | Active contour models are effective in contour extraction. One difficulty with models the technologies is that much work is needed for reliable parameter acquisition, which is conventionally done by trial-and-error methods. This paper introduces reinforcement learning to determine parameters for specific applications. By modifying the learning stream, our system overcomes a drawback exisiting in the reinforcement learning method that it was not robust. Exploration time is shortened by adding heuristic rules. Experimental results show that our systems work effectively. |
