Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we fully investigate the relation between the number of voice users and the number of high rate data users in the reverse and forward links of a DS-CDMA system with integrated services. In the reverse link, we adopt the perfect power control to solve the near-far issue. In the forward link, adopt the power control function used in Ref. [5] in order to uniform the service, which worst case is considered in the calculation of them. At the same time, we investigated the impact of serious and slight shadow fading environments on the system. The analyzed results, which are for the reverse or forward links, show that the number of data users with higher rate increases, the number of allowed voice users decreases rapidly. The analysis will be based on the most excellent information rate 3.75 kbps for one voice channel, which adopted PSI-CELP, because it may be used in the future.
