Abstract(in English) Two-wavelength integrated laser diode array for DVD-ROM and CD-ROM were developed. Both of the laser elements had SBR structure with InGaAlP clading layer and had single-mode emisson. Threshold current was 40mA and 30mA in DVD and CD respectively. RIN value-136dB/Hz were obtained with a high frequency superposition circuit. It applied to a new type of DVD optical pickups and showed suitable characteristics for both DVDs and CDs.
