Abstract(in English) | We have developed a novel system to obtain a photoluminescence (PL) image with a spatial resolution in a range of sub-μm at 15K. The microscopic PL equipment using ordinary optics shows a PL image with both a spatial resolution in an order of the wavelength of light and a much higher signal yield than that of a scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM). The spatial resolution of the equipment was confirmed to be almost equal to the theoretical resolution based on an observation of a PL image of GaAsP. The spatial distribution of cubic and hexagonal phases of GaN grown on sapphire by MBE was discriminated in a sub-μm range. |
