| 抄録(和) | 面積が異なる多数のSIS接合を、間隔を不均一にして超伝導ストリップ線路上に分布させた並列多接合SISアレイを提案し、そのミキシング特性をTuckerの理論及び等価モデルを用いて理論的に検討した。接合面積及び接合間距離の組み合わせは、アレイの入力端から見たSパラメータの反射係数要素S_<11>を最小にするよう決定した。その結果、均一な接合面積及び接合間距離から構成される従来のアレイにおける特定周波数でのミキシング特性の劣化を非常に改善することができた。不均一並列多接合アレイは、非常に大きい臨界電流密度を必要するサブミリ波帯・THz帯へのSISミクサの拡張に向けて非常に有望なものだと考えられる。 |
| 抄録(英) | An inhomogeneous distributed junction array, which consists of different areas of junctions and lengths between every two junctions distributed on superconducting stripline, has been proposed and the performances of mixing have been theoretically investigated using the equivalent circuit model and Tucker's theory. A set of areas of junctions and lengths between every two junctions has been determined so as to minimize a reflection coefficient of an S-parameter, S_<11>, at the input port in the array. In the result, it is demonstrated that the degradation of mixer performances, which is always observed at certain frequencies in the conventional array with same area and length of junctions, can be considerably improved in the inhomogeneous array. This demonstration indicates that the inhomogeneous distributed junction arrays can be considered to be greatly promising for its extension to the submillimeter and THz wavelengths, at which the large critical current density is needed for SIS mixers. |
