Abstract(in English) | We studied the supercurrent distribution in antidot-formed YBCO thin film strips by means of terahertz radiation imaging excited with a femtosecond laser. Antidots with a diameter of 2 μm were fabricated by Ar ion milling at an interval of 4∼12 μm on 100-nm-thick and 120-nm-wide YBCO thin film strips. We observed the supercurrent distribution images in the strip at bias currents between 0 and 460 mA, under the magnetic field between 0.9 and 25 mT, or in the remanent state at various temperatures, and compared them with the distributions in the strip without the antidots. The results indicate that the supercurrent in the antidot-formed strips distributes broader near the edges than that in the strip without the antidots, the vortex penetration from the edges strongly depends on the interval, the temperature dependence of the distribution remarkably differs from that in the strip without the antidots, and so on. |
