| Abstract(in English) | Recently, audio and video data delivery using multicast technologies is widely spread in the Internet. So, the performance evaluation of multicast traffic becomes an important issue. In multicast communication, the protocols and the behaviors of the routers are more complex than unicast communication. For example, the traffic to a network without any members of a multicast group will be stopped periodically. We have developed a performance analyzer for multicast traffic based on DVMRP used in the MBone, which performs the performance evaluation of multicast traffic as well as the analysis of DVMRP messages. This paper describes the results of its implementation. |
