Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel technique for the computation of electromagnetic scattering by a periodic array of circular cylinders embedded in a dielectric slab is presented. The technique is based on the generalized recursive T-matrix approach for layered structures and the lattice sums for a free-standing periodic array. The generalized scattering parameters of the dielectric slab containing the periodic arrayare calculated by taking into account the propagating and evanescent space-harmonics. The numerical results for the reflectances of arrays of both dielectric and magnetized ferrite cylinders embedded in the slab are presented and compared with those of same arrays in free space.
