Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nearly one meter in thickness of the air is requiered to absorb VHF electromagnetic waves by using of a 1/4λ type wave absorber(resistance-film/air/reflecting-film). Inserting the divided conductive filmes into the air layer, the thickness of the layer is reduced because of the huge real effective dielectric constant of the devided filmes. The effective dielectric constant with Coulomb interaction between stripe-like devided conductive filmes is calculated, and used to estimate the characteristics of the absorber. The panel of 10 cm in thikness can absorb waves of about 100MHz. The characteristics are mainly controlled by the width of the devided films and the air thickness between the devided films and the reflecting film, but little by the incident angle.
