Abstract(in English) | The block sampling can realize the perfect reconstruction filter banks, while the conventional sampling can not realize them. Vector filter banks are important because they are able to represent vector-based applications such as filter banks with block sampling. The conventional study have presented the perfect reconstruction conditions, polyphase structures for the critically sampled case. However, design methods for vector filter banks have not been given particularly. So we propose a design of vector filter banks. At first, We mention the features of vector filter banks and the advantages over the conventional non-vector filter banks. Next, we propose polyphase structures for oversampled vecor filter banks with arbitrary integer oversampling and perfect reconstruction conditions. We also propose vector filter banks with DFT modulation whose block size is multiple of the number of channels. We present the matrix representations and study the perfect reconstruction. Finally, We show the design example. |
