Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the emotion judgement mechanism(EJM)which outputs human's emotions from a given conversational sentence is proposed. This EJM is constructed by mainly two elements, emotional knowledge base(EKB)which is a collection of practical words(about 2,600 words)and unknown words processing mechanism(UWPM)which selects one of the words in the EKB from the given arbitrary word. UWPM is constructed by the concept-base with the calculation mechanism of the degree of association between concepts. The concept-base is a collection of concepts(about 50,000 concepts)with its attributes representing the meaning of the concept. To obtain more proper results from UWPM, this paper proposes both the refinement method, which refines attributes in the concept-base automatically in order to be suitable for emotion judgements, and the method using feature word with counterexample word. It is shown that these proposed methods are effective by the results of computer experiments.
