Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we explain how the concept of money can emerge in a society of artificial agents. In our simulations, the agents are able to exchange items with each other based on local rules and preferences. Although they are fully selfish and have no global information, they are able to behave in a cooperative manner and through the trade develop a concept of money. The focus of this paper will be on the principle of this cooperation and the role of the information exchange between the agents.
