Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses about the necessity that one certain object should be called the name like "money." At first, we classify our subjective act that we call one object as a word into three categories: judgment, repetition, and recognition. We also think each of common names and pronouns as the words for judgment and the words for repetition, which uses are contrastive to each other; on the other hand, we regard the rigid designators as the words for recognition. We think the relationship between objects and words has dual properties: stability as mere repetition and instability as conflict of judgments. Such relationship is fundamentally not private but normative, and the chain of performative recognition among the community will provide the solidity of rigid designators.
