Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Significant problem in multiple target tracking is the measurement-to-track association. JPDA(Joint Probabilistic Data Association) and MHT (Multiple Hypothesis Tracking) are effective methods of association for a dense environment. Especially, MHT is recognized as the theoretically best approach. The track-oriented MHT is an improved method for the conventional MHT, and the suboptimization algorithm which makes it equivalent to JPDA was reported. This paper provides a performance comparison between the track-oriented MHT, JPDA and the conventional NN (Nearest Neighbor) association method in term of track maintenance probability.
