A fast polar format algorithm with overlap of images

Abstract(in English) Polar format is one of the image reconstruction algorithm for the synthetic aperture radar, and is suitable for processing received signal with wide synthetic aperture angle. However it is inefficient to reconstruct stripmap image because it is developed for processing spotlight image. So, we propose a fast polar format algorithm with new multilook processing to reduce the speckle noise. We show the algorithm and the computational efficiency of this improved method.
