Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a blind SIR algorithm for an adaptive receiver in direct-sequence codedivision multiple-access(DS/CDMA) systems, in which the despreading vector converges by always renewing it toward the direction of the MSIR solution. This algorithm takes advantage that it requires the spreading sequence and timing information of the desired user, but no training signal. It was proved that the conventional method converges to MSIR solution on average, but it has such a defect that each renewing direction does not tend toward it. First, we clarify the defect geometrically. Next, we describe the principle that the proposed method converges to MSIR solution. Lastly it is shown that the proposed adaptive algorithm offers the better convergence characteristics and BER performance compared with the conventional method.
