Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) New types of spatial channel estimation techniques for the blind single-user space-time CDMA receiver are considered. We propose two spatial channel estimation techniques using Power Method(PM):Covariance Method (CM) in which the data covariance matrix of the despread array output is applied to the PM and Decision-directed and Differentially-formed Covariance matrix-based Method (DDCM) which utilizes the decision feed-back from the time domain filter with differentially formed covariance matrix of the array output to estimate the effective interference-free covariance matrix of the spatial channel. The simulation results shows the DDCM can enhance the BER performance of the resulting space-time receiver in the Rayleigh fading channel in the "near-far" situation.
