Abstract(in English) | Diversity systems are very effective for greatly improveing signal transmission performance in mobile radio communications. A blind diversity reception utilizing the eigenfilter is proposed and its principle and performance are described. First, the blind algorithm is derived by considering the reception diversity as one of the cyclostationary problems. This shows that the problem to maximize signal-to-noise ratio with a constraint condition becomes the one to solve the eigenfilter (eigenvector). Power Method is employed to calculate this eigenvalue. Computer simulations show the characteristics of error convergence of eigenfilter in both static and fading mobile radio environments, average bit error rate performance. The simulation demonstrated that the proposed blind diversity system is effective even in the relatively fast fading environment. |
