Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the experimental results on the beam tracking performance based on signal-to-interference power ratio (SIR) measurement using 2 receiver antenna weights in pilot symbol-assisted coherent adaptive antenna array diversity (PSA-CAAAD) receiver for W-CDMA reverse link. Experiments was conducted in anechonic chamber using PSA-CAAAD receiver with 6-antenna in 2-user (1-interfering user with high transmit power) environments). It was shown from the experiments that the beam steering can track to the movement above 12 degree/sec (corresponding to approximately 75 km/h moving speed at 100 distance from base station), with 0.03 degree updating step size and the average SIR measurement over 10 msec at average received E_b/N_0=7dB and average received SIR=-10dB for the desired user.
