Abstract(in English) An Onboard Processor which can perform baseband circuit switching has been designed and is being evaluated for advanced mobile communications using geostationary satellites. In this paper we clarify the characteristics of demultiplexer and multiplexer, and indicate analysis results of mechanical performances against launch conditions and in-orbit circumstances required as onboard equipment for the ETS-VIII satellite.
