Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a data collection and transmission system using optical fiber links, and its practical applications to the automatic environmental tests for electronic components and devices. To ensure simple, easy, and reliable operation, the measurement functions are integrated using PCs and characterized by automatic operation of test setups. This system was practically applied to collect test data acquired from vibration and temperature test setups. Vibration and temperature of the electronic components or devices under test were automatically measured so that data was collected and transmitted with reliability and that the operator was kept safe against accidents.
