Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the propagation delay and the frequency bandwidth in the V-PEACE scheme. Since each vehicle in the V-PEACE scheme exchanges its position information each other by broadcasting a pulse at a timing on a time division frame, a time lag caused by the propagation delay restricts the design of the V-PEACE scheme. The relationship between the propagation delay and the position error is studied and it is shown that the position error grows with deacreasing the frame period. The TDM frame structure for a multiple lanes environment is also discussed. It is found that each TDM subframe must have a guard time. In addition, a comparison of the required bandwidth between the V-PEACE scheme and the R-ALOHA scheme is investigated. It is shown that the required bandwidth of the V-PEACE scheme is 1 / 5 less than that of the R-ALOHA scheme.
