Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the performance of equalization using the bidirectional multiple stack algorithm(BMSA). The proposed equalization has the following features: 1)the proposed equalization scheme uses average of squared Euclidean distance instead of Fano metric as likelihood function, so as to cut down the computational effort; 2)the proposed equalization method uses BMSA so as to decrease erasure; 3)the iterative channel estimation using tentative decision sequence enables the proposed equalization to track fast fading channel. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed equalization offers substantial advantages over conventional equalization in terms of computational effort, and the error performance.
