Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Adaptive array techniques in mobile communication system can improve channel capacity by reducing co-channel interference and multipath fading. This paper reports the structure of an experimental equipment which consist of 8-element array antenna and the control units, and shows experimental results of the DOA estimation and BER improvement using the equipment. We evaluate the accuracy of the DOA estimation in outdoor. Moreover, we show the improvement of the BER performance through the beamforming control.
