Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Several advantages due to the short length of fiber to generate broadband four-wave mixing are argued and verified from wavelength conversion experiments for different lengths of the previously developed high-nonlineartiy fiber with the nonlinear coefficient 13.8^ W<-1>km^<-1>. Consequently, a 91.3nm broadband simultaneous wavelength conversion is demonstrated using a 100m of the fiber.
