Abstract(in English) Based on Pfinder, which developed at MIT Media Lab., we have proposed a real-time system called Ptracker for tracking people and interpreting their behavior. Ptracket can track people who are entering a room, siting on a chair, interacting with computer using hand gesture, standing up, walking in the room. Ptracker have a couple of tracking modes related with hierarchy of human behavior and can switch them automatically depending on layer transition on hierarchy of human behavior. This mechanism makes Ptracker more flexible than Pfinder
