| 抄録(和) | 顔画像照合では,同一人物の顔であっても顔の回転などの要因により,画像上に大きな変動が現れることにより照合性能が大きく低下してしまうという問題点があった.本報告では特徴点を中心とする局所領域に限定した,顔の標準的な三次元形状モデルを仮定すると共に,テクスチャマッピングの手法を援用することによる,向きが異なる顔画像間での照合アルゴリズムを提案する.100名の画像を用いた照合実験より,正面顔がら深さ方向に約40度回転した顔と正面顔との比較で100名中一位照合率95%と,正面顔同士の照合率と遜色ない結果が得られた。 |
| 抄録(英) | In face recognition system, there is a problem that the recognition rate fails rapidly by the factor of facial rotation. This is because the drastic variation appears on the images by facial rotation apparently, even if it is the face of the iderntical person. In this report, we propose a new face recognition algorithm that is possible to recogonize armong the face images with different orientation. this algorithm uses 3D shape model of facial local area centered on feature point and the texture mapping method. By the recognition experiment that used 100 images, our system achieved a recognition rate of 95% by the comparison between frontal faces and 40 degree rotated faces in depth. This result is rather the same rate than result among frontal faces. |
