Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Global Sensing is sensing about a total characteristic which does not depend on a characteristic of a limited part. It is hoped that recognition rate is improvement by adding this to conventional pattern recognition. I applied this method to handwriting analysis here. In the beginning I extract a few preprocessing data such as length and the horizontal ratio normalized by the printing type, etc., and lead them to a perceptron type learning machine. It judges handwriting of three subjects justly. I did experiments increasing subjects and got the result that indicates the effectiveness of Global Sensing.
