Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper propose a new method for character recognition, say adaptive perturbed correlation method. We reported experimental evaluation that extended range purturbed correlation method. Usually, the amount of the puturbation done only ±1 unit about each parameter for affine transformation, we expanded it up to ±3 unit, and that result was good. But, that extended range needed too much calculation. We propose adapive perturbed correlation method which use down hill method for extended range perturbed correlation to reduce calculation, and report simulation results.
