Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluate a pseudo 3-dimensional and directional features extraction method which previously reported. This method expresses eight directional vector features and a relative distance between character strokes assumed the three coordinate on a pseudo 3-dimensional space. To evaluate the effect by this method, we report on a recognition experiment result combinated perturbed correlation method and blurring proccessing, using Electorotechnical Laboratory handwritten numeral character data base et16. In this report, we could not get prominent effects by a pseudo 3-deminsional and directional feature extraction method.
