Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a stochastic model for a parallel image processing procedure. Here an example of such parallel image processing procedure is a procedure which detects the abnormal shadows in medical images or the defect in industrial images by combining outputs of different kinds of sequential procedures. In this paper, the relationship equation between the performance of each local process and that of final decision are derived by introducing stachastic model for local processes. The correctness of the equations are also evaluated. Moreover, it is shown that we are able to generate a parallel image processing procedure by using the equations.
