Abstract(in English) Recently, a DeskTop Conferencing (DTC) has attracted much attention because participants of a video conference can participate using their own personal computer via the internet with low cost and easy operation. However, a today's multipoint video conferencing is realized using a technology that is not suitable for IP network, because we have few discussions about a network system to provide a multipoint conferencing using an IP client. In this paper, we report a result of a study about"a method of a multipoint video conferencing using a multicast network technology and a dynamic rate allocation technology". It will bring us a best method for an IP based multipoint video conferencing.
