Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A scheduling algorithm is required to guarantee particular QoS for each traffic flow offered to a network node. This paper focuses on a scheduling algorithm called Queue Length Control(QLC)and compares it against existing algorithms in terms of packet delay, assuming multiple traffic flows with different delay target. It shows that QLC is useful under various conditions including traffic overload, packet length distribution and traffic mix over FIFO as well as priority control schemes.
