A Study on Multi-modal Quality Estimation Model Considering Conversational Factors

Abstract(in English) With the bandwidth of access lines to the Internet becoming broader, various multimedia services are being developed and provided. It is important to properly evaluate and manage users' perceptions of multimedia quality of service (QoS) in order to assure a comfortable QoS. For audiovisual communication services, we proposed a multi-modal quality estimation model as a function of the individual audiovisual qualities. This paper proposes an interactive multi-modal quality estimation model considering conversational factors such as delay. From the subjective test results, we found that the estimation error of the proposed model was less than the statistical reliability of the subjective score, so the quality estimation accuracy of the proposal model was sufficiently good.
