Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The camera calibration is indispensable to realize the stereo image processing. Former camera calibration mostly required extraction of the feature point from an image and then, correspondence between its point and a point on the world coordinate system. Consequently, the acquisition of the camera parameter needed remarkable time and showing of proofreading pattern. In this paper, we propose the technique of the camera calibration without utilizing information on the feature point by considering it as a discrete optimization problem. By treating the degree of correlation obtained by the Planar Projection Stereopsis method as the objective function and by searching the camera parameter based on taboo search, the camera calibration which its camera parameter is the same precision as usual method and enables to reduce the time to acquire the camera parameter was realized.
