Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss comprehensive quality estimation methodologies for IP telephony services, which are indispensable for appropriate quality planning and management. From the view points of accuracy in quality estimation and applicability to the primary quality factors in IP telephony, we propose the framework of a new methodlogy. The proposed framework takes into account the existing Recommendations with respect to quality evaluation. Next, we try to improve the accuracy of the overall quality estimation methodology that we have been proposing. Based on subjective quality data, we confirm that the proposed enhancement is effective in estimating quality of IP telephony services.
