Abstract(in English) We proposed a practical method to locate congested segments by actively measuring end-to-end packet losses on appropriate paths from multiple origins to multiple destinations, using a network tomographic approach. The proposed method is useful to locate bad segments where packets tend to be lost. In this paper, we extend the method to infer bad segments where packets tend to be delayed and conducted an experiment performing active measurements of packet delays over the Japanese commercial Internet. We compare the both experiment results for packer losses and packed delays.
