Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Compatibility between maintenance of image quality and robustness of image processing is an essential requirement for watermark embedding. This paper proposes a new watermarking method, which uses motion analysis to allocate watermarks where they will be less perceptible and thus improves their transparency. The proposed method would be most effective when incorporated into MPEG encoders and could be widely used in consumer electronics. Experimental evaluations of image quality and robustness of image processing show that new method is superior to the previous method.
