| 抄録(英) | The animal assisted therapy can be considered as psychological treatment based on human empathy characteristics. This paper discusses issues for the application of robot assisted therapy to nursing care of persons from the view point of human empathy characteristics. The effectiveness of the animal assisted therapy is attributed to the fact that animals are not human beings. Moreover, human's empathy levels with animals depend on their individual empathy characteristics. Therefore, in addition to not reminding clients of human feelings, the appropriate reaction of robots adjusted to the client's empathy characteristics is necessary to improve the effect of the medical treatment of the robot assisted therapy. |
