Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An authentication system using dynamic mouse patterns were developed. Two techniques, P-type Fourier descriptor and DP matching, was used separately for the authentication and compared each other in terms of their performance. Results of the experiment showed that the equal error rate was 10.6% of equal error rates for the P-type Fourier descriptor and 7.3% for the DP matching technique. Further study, however, should be encouraged to improve its performance for an alternative methodology to biometric authentication.
