| 抄録(英) | Novice users with little technical skill have insufficient knowledge and vocabulary for explaining system troubles accurately. As a result, technical support staff have great difficulty in accurately grasping the trouble and the operating environment of the system. Moreover, it is not easy for novice users to execute the instructions given by the operator. We examine the effect of visual information on the effectiveness and impression of a collaboration between a novice user and an operator. The results indicate that visual information helps the users in identifying the target objects, understanding the actions to be performed, and confirming the correct results of actions. There also be observed that visual information gives the users an impression such as shyness or incongruousness. |
