Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a system named IPPlanner to find potential talking partner. In case of normal computers, the person who booted a computer must have intention to use the computer. In case of robots, however, people who are near a robot do not necessarily have intention to interact with the robot. IPPlanner regards the person who reacts a robot action as potential talking partner. IPPlanner has a matrix to express its strategy for interaction and determines robot actions according to the matrix. We explain how IPPlanner selects actions and show results of actions selected by IPPlanner.
