Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The photometric registration problem is important to generate a seamless augmented reality scene. Especially, the difference in image quality between a real image and virtual objects decreases the seamlessness for users because the real image is degraded by blurring effects caused by an optical system of a camera. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to render virtual objects simulating blurring effects. This report proposes an image composition method for augmented reality, which is based on blur estimation from a real image and rendering virtual objects with the blurring effects. Moreover, a technique for estimationg the camera position and posture in consideration of image blurs is proposed. In experiments, the efficiency of the proposed method is confirmed by comparing a real image with a generated image composed by the proposed method.
