| Abstract(in English) | As a style of watching drama program on portable terminals, we can point out "picture-story show style" which is achieved by changing and displaying pictures as the summary of story in synchronization with audio. The development of digital technology in recent years is preparing the media which is be able to deliver not only audio but also pictures and short simple movies, and adaptable for installation of the "picture-story drama program" service. In this paper, we propose the method to prepare the picture sequence as the summary of drama movie based on the detection of shot changes reflecting the change of picture composition and starting points of audio. Scene changes are detected by evaluating the variation of fractal sequence, which is a kind of textural image features, in blocks set by dividing a frame picture. And the summary pictures are extracted, not at shot change points as conventional method, but at starting points of audio following shot change points. Additionally, we show a form of graphical user interface to be envisioned for delivering drama program, for an example of media, on Digital Radio Broadcast. |
