Analysis of Emotion Expression Focusing on Reason

Abstract(in English) In this research, our purpose is to extract emotion expressions and their related components from text, and to apply them for movie or book retrieval. The researches on extracting subjective expression including emotion has so far focused on the analysis of the subjective statements and their objects. In contrast to them, we have focused on the emotion expressions in book reviews, and analyzed the subjects, objects and reasons for each of the emotion expressions. In this paper, we analyzed the reasons of the emotion expressed in text using a detailed analytical framework and discussed their importance for the book or movie retrieval.
