Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report we address issues to be considered in introducing new systems and services based on computer technologies for signed language processing. The design method called user-participation, or user-centered design is considered in respect to characterization of a user group and real users as individuals. We introduce a certain hypothetical system for text-to-sign translation, and consider its use environment from the viewpoint of social welfare.
