| 抄録(和) | 手話言語では,単語の構成要素である手型,位置,動き等の要素が互いに協調し合って適格な単語を構成している.この相互作用を捉えるには,各要素間の異質性を取り払い,各要素を同質に扱うことのできる統一的な尺度が必要である.その手段として,各構成要素の生起確率を用いて数量化を行なう方法(確率論的アプローチ)を提案する.数量化の結果,単語は一定以上の複雑度(complexity)を持つことができないことが明らかになった. |
| 抄録(英) | The words in signed languages are composed of, at least, the handshape, movement, and location components. It is often the case that some componental elements all band together to create a well-formed word. To discuss the interactions, we need to handle qualitatively different components all together in a uniform manner. This paper proposes the concept complexity, and shows that how well the complexity-based approach can explain the interactions of the componental elements. It has also revealed that well-formed words have a certain amount of complexity or less while theoretically possible but unattested words have complexity that exceeds the threshold. |
